1. Never workout on an empty stomach or full stomach. Have a fruit (best option, banana) 20 to 30 mins before your workout.
a. The body gets energy from food. An empty stomach can cause you to pass out or get nauseous due to no energy to burn.
b. The body requires 30mins to an hour to digest medium to large amounts of food. A full stomach may cause abdominal pains and poor digestion.
2. Drink one to two cups of water 30mins before your workout. That way you’ll stay hydrated throughout your exercise.
3. Do some light stretching to prevent injury.
